Clinical Study
The effect Sports Vision Training has on youth with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
ADHD is a common behavioural disorder that affects an estimated 8% to 10% of school age children. Kids with ADHD act without thinking, are hyperactive, and have trouble focusing. They may understand what’s expected of them but have trouble following through because they can’t sit still, pay attention, or attend to details. Symptoms impair a child’s ability to function socially, academically, and at home.
The Connection! It has already been scientifically proven that sports vision training, using the dynavision 2000 and D2, improves concentration, focus and short term memory. Throughout our training experience we are seeing a direct relationship between sports vision training and the impact is has on our athletes outside their sport. Feedback from parents indicate a noticeable improvement in concentration, focus, reading abilities and comprehension.
